Every skater has their signature jump(s) that they favor. But some jumps are better executed than others. Here is a list of triples and quads that I love to see from some of the top men and ladies throughout figure skating history. I will edit as I recall more great executed jumps. Please feel free to share your lists.

Ladies:

3A:

1. Midori Ito: (Strong, powerful, leader )
2. Mao Asada: (beautiful, graceful, effortless :love:)
3. Elizaveta T.: (I just want to see one clean 3A from her this season :cheer2:)
4. Tonya Harding: (why oh why did you destroy your legacy :palmf:)

3Lz:

1. Elizaveta T.
2. Carolina Kostner
3. Yuna Kim (She does this jump so well, but she spoiled me with her 3F)

7. Karen Chen

3F:

1. Yuna Kim (I love, love, love her entry/exit/flow )

4. Evgenia M.
5. Yulia L.
6. Adelina
7. Michelle Kwan

3Lo:

1. Carolina Kostner

3S:

If we're doing juniors, definitely add Polina Tsurskaya, Wakaba Higuchi and Vivian Le for 3Lz or, if we're doing combos, 3Lz-3T. They all have amazing ones of both. Karen Chen has a great 3Lz too. :)

So-Youn Park has a great 3S.

Angela Wang has an awesome Rippon 3Lo.

Oh crap, I thought I added So-Youn for the 3S. Thanks for the suggestions Layback. This list is for athletes on the senior level only, since i'm not familiar with a lot of the Junior level skaters.

Okay, lol! SoYoun definitely deserves recognition for her awesome salchow so I'm glad you added her! :cheer:

Franklin, my dear, you missed Artur and Max from your 4Lo list and Artur and Plushy from your 4Lz list, if we are including what is done in practice.

Also, Max's is a 4S, not a 4T ;) (don't worry I made the same error during Tallinn) and Artur could go on both 4T and 4S lists too, if you wanted.

Thanks for the info Karne. I'll update tomorrow, as my brain gave up on me an hour ago.

Brian Joubert had a great quad toe, he also did quad sal occasionally. But my fav jump of his was the 3flip. His was just so so good and effortless.
I'd go
4T Yuzuru, Brian, Evgeni, Patrick, Denis
4S Yuzuru, Javier, Max
3A Yuzuru, Evgeni, Han Yan, Daisuke, Yagudin, Mao, Javier
3Lz Evgeni, Patrick, Yuna, Polina T, Elizaveta
3F Brian, Evgeni, Mao, Daisuke, Adelina, Carolina

Plushenko's and esp. Yuzuru's triple axel are way way ahead of competition in the 3A department. I have to agree Han Yan's is beautiful too but it is quite inconsistent! Also I am not sure about this thread (if I understand) but I would never include Jason Brown in the category of the best 3A jumps! It is his worst jump and it is very very rarely clean in comp. It would be like include Patrick for 3A also or Mao for 3Lz!

Brian himself admitted he lipped, so I don't know if his (f)lip does count.
I agree wholeheartedly about his quad toe, though. I loved how he kept his back straight while entering and landing the jump.

For 3A, I would mention Ilya Kulik.

3Lz Julia Sebestyen.

Good post. For 3F I would add Jason and for 3Lz I would add Gracie.

Nobody loves 4F, even in practice!

The effort for 4F dissipated with Takahashi's retirement, like the last leaf on the tree in mid-winter.
