The "Khrustalniy Kids" from the feeder groups have such a presence already, just the way some of them introduce themselves, Valerya Lukashova just commands your attention with that introduction, and notice how she also plays to the judges.
A system a work here, akin to The Tutberidze Effect?
A few falls too many in some of them, since they all are still young and need to learn how to balance themselves, how to tune in.
Lyov Lelekov won in the boys 2-sp category, he is from Khrustalniy too. He also a competitive ballroom dancer, swimmer, skier according to his mother.
December 21 will have Lyubov Rubtsova competing again, and since she is so pleased with learning the triksel, will she try competing it in CSKA Ultimate for the " Prize of Ded Moroz "?
She is up to serious competition there, with CSKA's best: Sof'ya Vazhnova, Sof'ya Dzepka, Karolina Kogan, Liza Kulikova, Irina Manayenkova, Mariya Paramonova, Mariya Rebrova and a whole host of excellent CSKA novices.

Munchkin at her first competition
a little worried before ...
but pleased and a little proud when done
as is their trainer, Aleksandra Prokhlova, and no doubt their parents are too.
Pretty dresses and handsome costumes on even these 4-5 year olds having their first ever competition.
PS: Aleksandra was a high level competitive skater herself and now is one of the trainers in the Khrustalniy feeder groups.
