Yuzu was having such a good time at the last show, looking at these clips. I love the Pooh ears and the 4T with twizzles. It makes me so happy to see.
Now we need to wait a few days for the Kobe Talk show.

Naoki Ogi is a big fan of Yuzuru since Sochi Olympics (as far as I know), he is 70 years old and has 3 grandchildren. He had been a school teacher for 44 years but he retired in March this year, he has been appearing on TV very often, too. He says in his blog that he had so much fun in FaoI Niigata and he passed out in the bullet train on his way back to Tokyo because of excitement after the show :laugh: (I'm sure he is joking here)

He's been wanting to meet Yuzu for years, it's nice he finally got to. :biggrin: Although they did talk briefly over a live TV broadcast a few years back?

Yuzuru took Ogi-mama to the backyard to take photos (he thought there was better background) and he cleaned up the baggage there to make space by himself. When they took photos, Yuzuru bent his knees very deeply for Ogi-mama.

Thanks for sharing! My favorite part of the interview is the one where he says 'jumps are one connective part of the performance.' He really is one magical skater that makes every element feel connected to each other. I really love how he often has expressed the importance of connecting transitions to other parts of a program and how he analyzes other skaters.

The way he looks like he's truly living his life with skating gives you--I don't know--this fluttering feeling that makes your heart race with excitement.

His 4Lz at WTT looked wonderful. The height, the speed, the edge. But I'm glad to know he's focusing on maximizing what he already has in his disposal even more.

I had hard time not to LOL when I saw this on the train :laugh: The talk in the studio was hilarious, too. Lady in pink (interviewer) said Yuzuru was sweating a lot but his sweat was beautiful and unscented :laugh2: (she tried to get closer as much as possible to make sure)

Thank you for sharing and translator for your hardwork! After reading this translation, I was curious about the nuance when he said "without any concern about retirement" and I went to the bookstore. (well, I'm sensitive to this word :p)

May I ask what the Japanese phrase was? I don't have this magazine with me.
