His popularity abroad is no piece of cake either, if you think of his skates successfully touring China all without him
I believe that this skates tour was perceived as a test by Cfanyus, who wanted to tell organisers (and potential sponsors) thtat there was a public in their town to hold a show with Yuzuru Hanyu. Yet, each of the displays had such long queues!

We are reminded that the registrations for the lottery to be able to order GIFT Blu-Ray (with a handmade glass bottle filled with GIFT rink melted ice) and DVD limited edition boxes, will end tomorrow 26th:

Pre-orders for GIFT (and Prologue) regular DVDs and Blu-Rays will remain open, and I think that they will print as many ones as we will order until the official releases in July and August.

By the was, I read that the new issue of GQ with Yuzuru Hanyu on the cover of the special edition, was already sold out, at least on Amazon (before the official release date) which brings me to think that like Elle Japon did with their Yuzuru Hanyu x Gucci issue, GQ may decide to reprint this issue. For Elle Japon, it was the first time in their history, for GQ I don't know if it would be.

And another anniversary. of Yuzu's first parade in Sendai following the Sochi OGM.

Should be remembered that this one was extraspecial in itself as not only was he the first Japanese, or even Asian, man to win the figure skating OGM, but his was the only gold Japan received in 2014 in any discipline. No wonder they celebrated!

His AERA sold out twice before the official released date, looks like GQ will do similar...
I thought that it was Elle Japon that had sold out twice before the official release? Not that his AERA photo shoots wern't a success, with several AERA and another magazine and a photo book being released and extra successful on just one photo shoot...
Anyway, the advertising campaign was planned in advance, and this makes that this delightful video of Yuzuru Hanyu was posted just in a moment when the magazine wasn't available:

As Shizuka Arakawa (2006 Olympic Gold and from Sendai too) had had an Olympic Parade, Yuzuru Hanyu had to have one too, I wonder what were his feelings? But I have no doubt that he was overall very happy.
