IIRC, the USFSA actually pays the MLB to do IN, right? Anyway, there's no point in complaining to IN because they've always blown off complaints. If something's going to be done we need to get the USFSA to switch providers.

A waltz is all about the rise and fall as the couple swirls across the floor. It's why you get the ONE two three beat. A rise and fall in the music echoed in the rise and fall of the couple's bodies. So there is horizontal movement, but there is also vertical movement. It should FLOW, almost like a ship moving through water.

The program is lovely, at least from what I saw the first outing of it. But it also isn't within the time signature of a waltz. I see that isn't an issue for the judges, and I think it should be.

It seems like most couples are doing everything they can to make the waltz as UNtraditional as possible. Same thing with the Russian test skates. Just seems to be the trend this year.

It isn't an issue with THIS technical panel, anyway (the main issue where I see the dodgy time signature being an issue is with the timing of the pattern). It would be interesting to see how other technical panels will respond.

Yay, it's back!

I know they had something to do with IN getting up and running, but I've always wondered why MLB has apps for tv thingys like GoogleTV and AppleTV and Roku and so on and apps for phones and tablets but IN has nothing...

I just love how Karen skates "big" for someone being so petite!

Also, I am very happy to see both her and Mirai using spiral in their programs this year (I really miss Arakawa, Cohen and Kwan's beautiful ones!). I hope Adelina, Mao and Satoko will use them too but I guess that is too much to ask for under the current COP system...

Amy Lin was lovely and her jumps looked improved form her JGP. Hope she gets a good score!

I think Ice Network should have to refund some of their fee every time their live stream goes out. That is what people are paying for. If they can't deliver the product, they have no business charging for it.

Not even the Great Sabinfire can retrieve a video that was never streamed....It's so sad we missed Satoko... by the score I'm guessing she got a UR?

IceNetwork just tweeted that they will have the full ladies short posted later, so hopefully that means they didn't lose Satoko's program with the streaming problems. I'd be really mad if we couldn't watch it later.

LOL, they don't even offer refunds if you cancel your subcription. They know their service sucks.
