Stream for Moscow cup, 2nd day. Junior ice dance has ended but it is still viewable.

Pairs event has ended now but it is still viewable. Kudryavtseva/Simenenko looked great even though he fell once. I always though she looked very promising with her former partner (Kuznetsov) but with Simenenko she looks amazing. This is especially true when considering how little time they have skated together. Great job. Looking forward to see how they will do next season.

Let's hope the federation will allow Kudriavtseva/Simenenko compete at the second junior nationals. If they do well, they would have a chance to get on the team for the next season.

Not sure what's going on with Atakhanova/Spiridonov. Considering that Russian junior nationals are in ten days, it doesn't look good for them. Are they injured, or did Pavlova's way of coaching turned them into headcases? I don't think they have any chance to get to junior worlds this year, but if they skate badly, they could end up completely off the team in the next season. With so many promising newly created junior pairs...

Gulyakova, Vasilieva, Pankova qualified to JrNats, Mitrofanova is 2nd substitute to JrNats.
Of Top5 Junior Ladies at Moscow Cup (total score 190.22 to 169.60) only Safonova did not qualify to Main or Substitute parts of JrNats. Safonova is good, interesting skater (unfortunately too tall) but had mistakes at 5th Russian Cup Event.

Senior Ladies are lower level than Junior Ladies, as always at Russian local competitions. It is because the strongest Junior Ladies compete as Juniors to pretend to JrNats and JGP Events, less strong (but the same age) ladies compete as Seniors to pretend to medals of local competitions, they have not chance to JrNats or JGP.

Wow. Thanks for videos, AlexRus. At first I didn't notice Sasha's skating skills. Incredible! Very enjoyable and smooth skating. I've heard here, that she will try jump 3A at Russian Juniors. Hope so.
And Trusova is not alone, there are other very good girls born at 2002-2004. Situation looks like 6-7 years ago, when were many talented girls born at 1996-1998, not all of them became top Seniors, but Sotnikova, Tuktamysheva, Lipnitskaia, Pogorilaya, Radionova (born at very early 1999, "almost 1998") all are from this generation.
Born at 2002-2004 may give similar group but at significantly higher level.

Final results of elder girls (born at 2004-2005).
1. Anastasia Tarakanova
2. Aleksandra Trusova (fall from 3Lz in FS)
3. Alena Kanysheva

Coach Panova (1 Tarakanova and 3 Kanysheva places, Panova is former coach of Sotskova) won Tutberidze (2 place Trusova).

Tarakanova and Trusova have great advantage over all other competed girls. They both are age eligible to JGP next season.
Kanysheva is one year younger than these two, so she has time to progress. and of course her 3rd place is real success for her.
These three skated better than girls from StPetersburg qualified to Zhuk Memorial, so they are serious (or main?) pretenders to medals at national level.

Videos probably will be at https://www.youtube.com/user/WwwTulupRu/videos

Also Trusova has problems with edge on her 3F. But she can improve it as Medvedeva did it with her Lz
