Omg... how are my nerves supposed to survive this...
We barely survived this season. Are we all laughing nervously? Yes or yes?

Zhenya gained 25 thousand more followers on instagram in 4 days.
Just watched TSL’s video and while they can be very critical of skaters, Dave LOVED Zhenya’s 3S-3Lo. He mentioned it twice. They thought this competition was a great success for her, even though Dave doesn’t like her FP music. I love the step sequence music but for some reason the beginning gives me anxiety. Maybe I’m still scared from IdF.
They didn’t talk about placements, just what they thought about the programs overall. But I think they might have wanted her to place over Elizabet because they kept talking about how Elizabet’s PCS is a choice and came out of nowhere during 4CC. They don’t think the PCS is necessarily justified.
Either way, I was over the moon happy for Zhenya medaling.
Although I usually love their videos, I think they were far over the limits with this one. And Dave was like “Evgenia’s 2A is sooo problematic”. Like, SHE WAS HURT, and her 2A is great in practices. And he kept saying “it’s getting worse from the beginning of the season”. And the only good thing Dave had to say about Zhenya was the 3S3Lo. Her FS was not bad, I actually really like the music, but he was like “it’s the worst thing ever”. And neither him nor Jonathan thought she could medal (according to their preview video). I don’t like the way they underestimate her and are overcritical. They give lots of opinion based on not seeing the whole picture, like, for example, not watching practices etc.
I’m not a huge fan of Alina’s, but they saying she should retire was terrible. They were really disrespectful. And even when they said she wasn’t doing anything for the sport and that she should become a model. It really bothered me.
I didn’t like the way Dave tried to say Rika’s 3A wasn’t consistent based on the practice notes. He said every 5 jumps, she would pop 1. That’s not accurate, she was AMAZING on practices and popped very few ones.
I didn’t like the way Dave tried to give his opinion on the Mariah-Eunsoo thing and didn’t have the whole information. Eunsoo herself asked her agency to complain about Mariah’s behavior. Mariah didn’t excuse in any moment. Rafael was the rudest possible when Eunsoo finished her program. Something is not being told in this situation, and I don’t think we should take parts without knowing what’s actually going on. They were totally on Mariah’s side.
So, although I usually like their videos, I actually didn’t like this one. They were just very rude and disrespectful.
Congratulations, you just described this whole forum
Not to be mean (including to myself), but we all give opinions in a very similar way. It just so happens that with them we have a name and a face to attribute to the comments too
What a lovely end to a rollercoaster of a season! By far the most difficult senior season she's had and I'm so happy for the uphill way it ended. Zhenya's matured into such a wonderful young lady and the way she can tell a story even without all the showy jumps still wins me over, over almost all other skaters in the field despite a bunch of them having higher technical content and such. I can't wait to continue to follow her journey and I wish her all the best especially with the quads!!
Also I really hope Shae Lynn Borne choreographs Memoirs of Geisha bc her work with Yuzuru's Seimei was a MASTERPIECE.
I feel like overnight sometime about a year ago Zhenya blossomed from cute, pretty, adorable girl to beautiful, gorgeous, stunning young woman
The guys on TSL think they are the ultimate experts. I don't care about them at all.
