I think she pulled out of the GP because her health wasn't good, and if she wants to be competitive for worlds/nationals she needs to take care of herself mentally and physically. I hope we see her at nationals, but health comes first.
I saw an insta video where she had a boot on her foot.
Are you talking about Gabby? Are you talking like for a break or something or do you mean she was wearing a skating boot? or...
Heh, I get what she's saying, but it's still funny to see a thirteen-year-old talking about "where I grew up".Has anyone shared this CTV News interview with Kaiya which took place shortly after the JGP Egna-Neumarkt yet? https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1803119
I thought the same thingHeh, I get what she's saying, but it's still funny to see a thirteen-year-old talking about "where I grew up".
By "home scoring helping G/P get the levels", do you mean Marie Bowness is going to be the TS in Montreal?
Okay, but we ended up with a 2/3 North American team (and 3/3 North American-coached) podium.Let's be clear here, no other skating discipline had as many judges from one region as did Dance. Not in Mens, Womens or Pairs. Last time I checked, 6 out of the top 10 placement at Worlds '19, were by non European nations. As we know when it comes to Dance, a judges preferred style can/will affect the outcomes.
That basically means Gabby had only 3 weeks of practice time during the 6 weeks since SC. And now it's 5 weeks til Nationals.
