I miss Yuzu's performances... :sad21:
Woah, JNats never this inflated and men's field never so shallow in 10 years, very underwhelming competition. :disapp:
It comes down to tech panel being very Xmas happy, 'cause even on low quality slow-mo you can clearly see at least two quads and a triple axel were NOT rotated.
Seriously 192 with no clean quad and REP, JSF is going to beat Russians ?
The score is shameless, they could give him deserved scores which is 15-20 pts less and he would be champion in any case. This is so irritating honestly.
Doesn't Shoma ' s score seem a little too high? There is a penalty for two same quads with no combo right? Not sure this should only be 3 points behind his GPF score. My guess is jsf wants to always have him score in a way so that he doesn't fall behind Nathan in people's minds.
And so they should. The US fed is pushing Nathan to the judges like crazy, and we've seen what happened when the Chinese fed didn't push Boyang at all.
It's Nationals, let them push as hard as they possibly can.
Seriously, do you have eyes than the technical specialist? Do you actually see each element and the corresponding score?
Look at the ridiculous scores at other Nationals. Spanish, Russia, upcoming Canada…. I dont know why they critisize like this. Provably they hate japanese skaters and just want to do them.
Not like I can stop them.
And there's pushing and then there's this, which is a bit of an embarrassment. Not everyone will just look at the score. Pre-rotations, under-rotations, well, everything said before. Nothing lasts forever and he doesn't seem to be trying to fix his problems.
I just find all this very, very curious. Well, careful JSF, careful is all I'll say. You might find yourself with nothing in hand.
The rule was changed quite a few seasons ago. The second 4T received a +REP which means it's worth 70% the original base value but didn't count as a combo.
I agree with you today's competition was almost alarming for me tbh, it is going all wrong all wrong, I am not basher or a hater I see serious problems there and if it is not fixed I am afraid end might be soon and very sad. I don't know how can I explain here that I am not a hater of anyone. :disapp:

Notable absence from JNat threads this year is Canadian Skater Guy. If that was Yuzu, CSG will rip apart the score for 3 pages (remember last year)

and foreverchan is not interested in Jnats this year either
Congrats to the medalists
Unfortunately getting nitpicked and criticized for everything is the name of the game once those medals start hanging around the skaters neck. It'll only get worse with each passing season, no one said being on top is easy. :noshake:
