If there's no WDs, this should be the SD starting order:

WARM UP GROUP 1
Tiffani ZAGORSKI / Jonathan GUERREIRO
Shiyue WANG / Xinyu LIU
Kana MURAMOTO / Chris REED
Kaitlin HAWAYEK / Jean-Luc BAKER

WARM UP GROUP 2
Victoria SINITSINA / Nikita KATSALAPOV
Rachel PARSONS / Michael PARSONS
Piper GILLES / Paul POIRIER
Maia SHIBUTANI / Alex SHIBUTANI
Anna CAPPELLINI / Luca LANOTTE

Would by any chance T/T withdraw again as they did at NHK?

Edit: Isabella TOBIAS / Ilia TKACHENKO WD. No replacement.

I have heard via skaters who train with T/T that they will be competing in the US and in Zagreb.

If Capelini/Lanote get silver, what are their chances for GPF?

Quite high. They would have to outscore Bobrova & Soloviev's overall total; but Cappellini & Lanotte already have a score two points higher than B&S's highest score on the GP.

:( Seems like their citizenship issue affects their GP appearance. Is the vacant spot to be filled with another team?

Probably too late, especially since it's a holiday weekend. It would have to be a team training in NA for sure, and not an American team. Possibilities could be Smart/Diaz, Soucisse/Firus or Fournier Beaudry/Sorensen from Montreal. Kuzmichová/Sinicyn had one event and are in Toronto. Coomes/Buckland or Nazarova/Nikitin from Novi. But I'd be surprised to see them add anyone now.

does not have Isabella TOBIAS / Ilia TKACHENKO listed.

If this is just down to the citizenship issue, I am really disappointed in them - by leaving it so late to withdraw they are preventing another team (such as Coomes/Buckland who under ISU rules should have had 2 GPs from the start as returning skaters) from getting out in front of a top panel of judges. Can understand leaving it late if they have an injury and are waiting to the last minute to see if they can skate, but if it's a case of just not skating because they are upset/disappointed about the citizenship thing... really poor show.

well, twice sad for Tobias/Tkachenko withdrawal - first, to not see them again (Isabella is such a performer!) and second, because another team won't be able to fill the slot...;\

but - excited to see some of my favourite programs there - Shibutanis stellar SD, making me want to dance and smile (yeah, it will be past 1 am in Poland, so I'll have to tune my maracas down with volume and skip ballroom heels to not wake up my flatmates:laugh:), Piper and Paul programs (which I love irrevocably despite other reviews), Kana and Chris programs, Kaitlin/Jean-Luc 'Liebestraum' FD, Anna/Luca programs...

:cheer:

I mean why not invite another team ?

Smart/Diaz, Coomes/Buckland and Fournier-Beaudry/Sorensen live not far away without any time difference. For these first two teams since they go to the Olys (well S/D have a big shot but Co/Bu have their spot), it should help them... plus the public will like them.
I mean we saw it coming for T/T. Not the citizenship but the WD.

Is this a reliable source that T/T not competing due to citizenship issues or is this a guess?

Just a guess, so that's why I said "seems like". After the news regarding the citizenship issues was posted to the GP Selection thread, a couple of people let us here know about their WD.

Those groupings seem odd.

Parsons in the last group, but H/B and the Russians in the first group?

No shade thrown at the Parsons, but I would have guessed their ranking would not merit this. Don't they group by rankings?
