i guess it wouldn't be exciting if the leading contender for gold swept the rest in a breeze... but darnit nonetheless

Not the greatest of the short, but PCS should help her to have a good score to recover in the Free.
Score: 68.75 currently 4th

Gaaah my head aches...

The expected winner in 4th, well this is going to be dramatic till the end. TBH I won't be that upset if Sakamoto Kaori ends up winning this, but Kihira Rika still has her 3As.

Oof, three falls... Why did you have to start the trend Marin

Shame for the mistakes! This is such a fan program. I feel so sorry for her and Marin. I hope they'll do better in the Free!
Score: 59.99, currently in 11th :(

We'll have to wait another competition for Rika's elusive clean competition. The equation is simple. No less than 2 clean 3As and Rika wins, regardless of the field's results here.

This is NHK all over again, almost literally. It's in Japan, Rika did pretty badly in the SP and is sitting 8 points from first.

Oh, Miyahara Satoko is in first? The FS is going to be very, very dramatic.

Being a few points/placements back after the short isn’t an unfamiliar place for her to be this season.

Rare mistake on a non-3A element, though.
