Assuming there won't be a sudden change to my schedule which would prevent me from tuning into the livestream, I'm planning to make screen recordings of Pulkinen, Sadovsky, Hiwatashi and Grassl (or would someone prefer that I just "video capture" the entire final group?), plus Kings has requested Harry Mattick. Is there any other skater in this event that someone would like for me to record?

Group 1 is warming up. We have the same elderly (and somewhat snarky) commentator as yesterday.

If you'd record Sunghoon and Sejong it'd be very much appreciated!

Reshtenko is skating to The Greatest Showman, I think (or at least his costume reminds me of Samarin's). I didn't realize this movie was so popular.

:thank: Adam Siao Him Fa (FRA). He will compete in JGP final, so probably he is worthy to be recorded!

Harry Mattick (GBR): 3S-3T, StSq, 2Lz, 3Lo-2T, 2A-2A SEQ, 3S, Camel Spin, 2F, 3Lo, Flying Spin, Combination Spin, not bad but not a lot of personal involvement (PE) in the program tho 105.44 PB

Great skate from Harry Mattick, only doubled the Lutz & Flip. But good spins, and I disagreed with the Commentator, he interpreted the music well, so did the Judges, he got a SB of 105.

I don't get Klepoch's shiny gold-and-black costume; it looks like it's from a low-budget sci-fi movie.

Wow, the commentator just said that he can't say anything positive about Klepoch's skating.

Well, his PE score is not that high, commentator was talking how he could be personaly involved in the program more... Now he said he can't find anything positive to say about Klepoch (SVK). After criticizing his SS : And judges scored all of his components below 5...

God, I saw it the other evening. What a let down! :disagree: Totally hyped.

Trust me, for Harry that was a good skate. He is 25 and has never been at the top in Britain, never mind on a world stage. He is starting a Challenger in the first group in 22nd. He's hardly going to have the greatest SS. Not everyone can be Chan. Sometimes a compliment doesn't hurt, and he did almost his best. That's all you can ask. :)

The commentator was grumpy that the competition was 3 minutes behind schedule because the judges were taking too long to input their numbers. He sure likes his early bedtime.

He’s the anti-Ted.
Yeah, he is not that positive  To be fair he didn't criticize ladies that much... But i find very informative what he is saying about skaters components and GOE of the elements... You can hear he is explaining his thoughts like the judges could do (he is looking at the things from a judge's perspective). He is just honest

Anti-Ted's true colours are certainly coming out now after a long day for him! For those who don't know, Peter Krick is/was a big cheese in the ISU, who organizes events. I had heard from a friend who was volunteer at a previous JGP Final he organized some years ago that he was a difficult person to deal with. Now I understand why!
