It would be nice if Poluyanova/Sopot had their break through. He was successful with his previous partner, she was considered the strongest female partner from Perm, and yet together they are ok but not great. I was really annoyed with him that he got rid of Borisova, but it’s time to let go and stop holding any grudges. I wonder what was preventing them to achieve last season. They did all the elements and then did not seem to get proper levels (on spins, lifts etc) and high GOE. Which is quite unusual for a pair from Perm because Perm pairs usually can’t jump but can do all their non jumping elements and get high levels with high GOE. Next season they won’t be eligible for juniors any more, so they really need to get the results!
