Me too, and I guess dinner at restaurants at Gangneung will be expensive, I am already thinking to purchase some food from Seoul before I get to Gangneung, so that we could cook a bit at where we live
I’m planning to pack emergency instant noodles. One thing I can count on while staying in Asia is that almost anywhere you stay there will be a water boiler.
* I used "HOMEPLUS Gangeung" (홈플러스 강릉) during the 4CC last year. It was a shopping mall with a full grocery section, near the KTX station. You can google it. They will be closed on February 14th. By the law, large shopping malls should be closed at least twice per month.

* Another shopping mall is "E-MART Gangneung" (이마트 강릉) near the beach. They will be also closed on February 14th.
