Very soft knees, but less memorable than Li or Chan. The choice of long program wasn't great for him. I didn’t think he had 3A. I would say skating clean was his best quality, sort of like Koreneva/McDonald, with brighter competitors doing riskier or more memorable things. Totally deserved first place, no question, but we were more excited for silver and bronze winners.
