The new Japanese girls are great but they simply do not have the scoring potential that would allow them to have some mistakes. They have to be squeaky clean.

I mean, deserved, I far prefer her to Mone. ( Just personal preference) but quite a number of jumps looked super sketchy on replay.

The problem isn't that fans are putting pressure on Amber. Figure skaters (and all athletes) have had pressure put on them for years between fans, coaches, federations, leagues, teammates, themselves, and more.

The problem is that Amber needs to learn to learn how to handle this pressure.

Amber is not the first and won't be the last to fail. Every athlete goes through this.

As for the fans, I have a number of friends who watch football, baseball, basketball, and other sports, and the things they say in their reactions are way more blunt and fiery than what has been posted here.

The difference is those are team sports and one lone person isn’t being raked over the coals.

Amber has ADHD and struggles with her focus. She is aware of that and is trying to find ways around it.

Nothing but love and support from me. This is a heavy burden to carry alone - we should be rooting for her to overcome this instead of berating her over it. I am not gonna give up on her.
