What was with someone sticking a microphone into Mikaela's face and asking her about her vomit? Why can't they back off these people and just interview them if they win?

As far as Wiley Maple, does that mean after he's on the Olympic team will he be able to travel with the US team going forward or will he have to keep paying his way?

ESTER LEDECKÁ!!!!! What an achievement! For those of you who don't know - she's a favourite for gold in SNOWBOARDING, which is her forte and primary discipline, and she kinda does skiing on the side. Her goal for the Super G? TOP 15. But she managed to pull off one of the biggest upsets of these Games thus far, getting gold in this competition. Poor Ester thought there was a mistake in the standings when she crossed the finish line, haha, she couldn't believe she won.

I almost couldn't believe it too, especially with the olympic channel already tweeting about Annas win
But I was glad that everyone seemed really happy about it :)

And DAMN Marcel is going strong. sometimes I'm wondering just how much Hendrik curses him internally

Czech media had been weird about her until she won. Now everybody is jumping on the love bandwagon.

(she is a daughter of a singer that was kinda big in the 1990s too).

Going to bed now, so putting this up as a placeholder, and will add the links tomorrow.

Not racing this time, but the women have Downhill Training.

Since there is competitive action happening at the same time, the Downhill Training is not being shown LIVE on Eurosport’s linear TV channels.

I just pray they do not interview anyone else about their vomit or any other bodily emission.

I heard in the Nordic Combined commentary (of all places!) that there have been changes to the Alpine schedule, as there is bad weather forecast towards the end of the week. So, I just looked it up.

The Women's Downhill is still on Wednesday morning. But, Thursday's training for the Downhill portion of the Women's Combined has been cancelled. The reason being is that they are holding the actual competition instead!

So, instead of the Women's Combined being on Friday, it is now alternating with the Men's Slalom on Thursday.

Thursday 22[SUP]nd[/SUP] February 2018

10:00 KST (01:00 GMT / 02:00 CET): 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Run of Men's Slalom
11:30 KST (02:30 GMT / 03:30 CET): Downhill Run of Women's Combined
13:30 KST (04:30 GMT / 05:30 CET): 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Run of Men's Slalom
15:00 KST (06:00 GMT / 07:00 CET): Slalom Run of Women's Combined

The Mixed Team Event (a Parallel Slalom) is still pencilled in for Saturday. So, I think that the FIS are not that worried about whether they get to run it or not.

All of which means that if everything goes to plan, there will be no clashes with the figure skating on Friday! So, Eurosport should be able to show the Ladies FS LIVE! :cheer:

Fingers crossed that it all works out!

Lindsey was really good, but not enough. She still delivered a solid and mistake free run. I am really proud of her medal - her last Olympic medal. Her career was inspiring, but I have a feeling this may be her last competitive season.
Good job!

I think Vonn might go one more season to try for the World Cup overall wins record. She's really close and has talked about wanting that in the past.
