The thing is, the only time I ever sign into YouTube is when I am uploading a video. Frankly, I don't want Google knowing what I am watching. So, although the "Watch Later" tool would be useful, I wouldn't be using it.

Unless you're using a VPN every time you use youtube, Google knows what you're watching anyway.

True, Google would know what my IP address is watching. But they wouldn't be able to pin it down specifically to my account.

Not that what I'm watching is that interesting. It's mainly just figure skating livestreams, and occasionally (but not often) the odd music video.
