Tracy and Brian are currently on a youtube livestream with Pj Kwong. Brian said that he has 2,3,4 sessions with Zhenya per week. Today she is working with Tatiana Tarasova on polishing her short program.

I love that! I‘m really excited for Zhenya‘s new programs, sounds like she‘s working hard and is getting proper support from all around.

Also, I keep thinking that Mao skated to the same music in a legendary program (like all of her programs lol). Imo, there‘s a lot of parallels in their careers. I‘m just so glad Zhenya‘s sticking around even though this season will probably be even more stressful with all the uncertainty...

Interview with famous designer Natalia Bolshakova. She talked a lot about the psychological violence towards skaters and athletes in general in Russia and other countries, especially the treatment female skaters receive in the sport. She often sees things during fittings that others do not see.

She was also asked about Zhenya:
"Q: Do you like how Evgenia Medvedeva has changed outwardly after moving to Canada?

A: Definitely - yes. In general, I like everything that happens to Zhenya. Having gone through all this harsh dictatorship, she was able to retain her personality. And this is almost unrealistic in the conditions of Russian figure skating. The words of Masha Sotskova and Betina Popova only confirm this."

I'm so happy to hear she's in good shape with all of her elements restored (hope that means 3-3s too!) and is able to work in good company (for her personally).

Haha so funny, last week someone posted a tweet saying that Zhenya should post something with yellow on instagram if she is secretly on twitter. Today she posted a drawing of Nathan in his yellow shirt. So twitter is going crazy and everyone is posting the hashtag "#янеженя" which means "I am not Zhenya" on twitter with photos of themselves to prove they are not Zhenya's "secret account" and it is already trending No. 1 in Russia hahaha.

Someone in my last post comments asked me “what was your gala number “Experience” about?”
And I realized that lots of you was looking at this gala with a really wrong sight.

“Experience” was about my first relationships. About a pain when your the most favorite person is leaving you at the worst time of your life and you realize that all was just a game to make him feel better. It’s about the struggle of losing a person but of an anger and feeling helpless at the same time.

I had different ends of this number. Depended of a current condition of that relationship. But the last one finished sad.

Take a look at my “Experience” with a right eye.
Not everything is about career.
Real life hits hard too.

My first reaction is sadness that someone would hurt her like that. I really hope that the fact she’s sharing this with the world means she is in a better place now. She's so unbelievably strong and we don't even know about the things going on outside of her career. Despite all the hardships she's faced, she's still the classy and genuine person she's always been. She fills me with hope for humanity.
