The big winner was figure skating.....Thanks to a dynamite Ladies comp and those wonderful Japanese fans, who came out in droves and cheered everyone on. At least there are a few countries left that appreciate a sport with artistry AND athleticism. For me and my wife, seeing my adopted "grand daughters" do so well made for quite an evening....A big hug for Eunsoo....keep at it...you are beautiful....Mai, we love you...beautiful FS music, beautiful skate....Rika, thanks for leaving your quad out for now...I couldn't bear to see you fall on it....you were perfect, my Angel of skating....Mariah, wish I could come to nats and cheer you on....alas, I must board a cruise ship and leave you....tear falls...well, not really. You will do just fine without me!
