I wonder if you know when are they doing the drawing of starting orders for ladies and men? It's not shown in the schedule and it seems that the drawing of starting order for men has already been carried out (not sure about ladies).

NB: Just saw on twitter, I think the ladies starting order has been drawn as well. Miyu Honda will skate first!

Rinka Watanabe is rumoured to have landed fully rotated 3A combos during a 6 minute warmup. However, I don't believe she will attempt any in this event.

Aside from the many Jr. Ladies who are currently on JSF’s supported skaters list and/or have JGP experience, watch for Rinka Watanabe, Shiika Yoshioka and Tomoe Kawabata to challenge for Top 6 placement.
Also expect a strong showing from 2017 Novice champion Hanna Yoshida.

Need to mention Rion Sumiyoshi (another Jr, Lady who’s attempted the 3A during competition).
After all the summer and fall events she participated in with good results, it's really unfortunate she had a rough Eastern Sectionals and failed to qualify for Junior Nationals.
IMO, she definitely could’ve been in the mix for Top 6.

Too bad Koshiro WD. Hope he's okay. But does this mean no Junior WC spot for him next year...

Sad for Koshiro, I really liked that boy since I saw him live in JGP St Gervais last year. I hope his injury (if that’s the reason, it could be sickness too or other factors) isn’t too bad.
