Thanks mikaboo and ioanap for the information and the HD video. It's a shame how could I forget Mura and Dice :slink:

I will re-list and re-post that soon here.

^^^Thanks yhmafan :)

Sota's fanboying is endearing and a bit creepy at the same time  But I'm sure a fan gave it to him (I hope).

Wow! Thanks for adorable posts! Go boys and girls!:cheer:

Welcome back! (Are you back?) I hope you had a nice vacation.

Some more photos from Torun.

Another one of Poeta Yamamoto and Hidetsugu(one of them is the same one as what alia posted)

Killing time at Torun. Is there a name for this game?

Sota smiling at the camera. <- replaced with a better one

Lots of photos from practice sessions here.

I'm glad the boys did okay. The girls were meh, but hopefully they'll come back stronger in the FS.

Lost balance on the FSSp(?) and -1 for dropping her hair clip, but otherwise a very nice skate.

Wakaba skated at Tokyo Regionals today and scored 60.16 although she didn't make any obvious mistakes. Probably an "e" on the flip again?
I don't know when the protocols come out but someone posted the scores on twitter.
It's good to see Wakaba getting competition at home too - Akari Matsubara in 2nd place scored 55.90.

Good luck to Sota and Hidetsugu for their FS!
(Although I admit, if Hidetsugu does well, that might kill any chance Koshiro might have of getting his 2nd assignment:slink:)

Thank you! That's so weird about their birthdays. TJ's male skaters have to be born around the cold months to make it to the top?

I think Hidetsugu fell about 3 times at his most recent local competition. I don't want to see that, but fingers crossed for Koshiro too.

From Hidetsugu's twitter. Looks like they all went out and had fun :)

Well...they might have got ice skates as birthday presents :laugh2: . Actually my best ever Christmas present was a pair of ice skates. I still remember perfectly that day and how happy I was (I was only 6 years old)

Has anyone mentioned almost all the figure skaters of Team Japan are blood type B or O?

It's so strange because the ratio of Japanese blood Type is; A = 39%, O = 29%, B = 22% and AB = 10%

Kanako is blood type A, and once she said she wanted to be Type B
Can you guess the reason?

Ryuju and Mitsuki are Type AB. Very rare. I'm afraid they seem to be typical AB (same as me :p). What do I mean? It is said that blood type AB is less aggressive or do not have strong fighting spirit.

Go Ryuju and Mitsuki ! Show us it is not the case wth you :cheer:

Congratulations to Rin on the bronze and Sota on the gold medals!
Looking at the protocols, I think Rin may have fixed her flutz? But of course she gets a "e" for her flips now.
Too bad about Kaori this time. Besides the falls, her jumps were beautiful. She must be very disappointed to have lost her chance to go to JGPF.
Kamata did a good job too and I think he just took Koshiro's place to get a 2nd assignment. :)cry: for Koshiro)
