I was able to watch the last 5 jumpers. Wow...congrats Andi!
I always enjoy watching ski jumping, those guys go so far, nerves of steal right there!
But question...when did the hill go from having actual snow on it to having tracks? Or did it never have snow? I'm rather weirded out by the fact there's not a flake of snow to be seen on the hill itself!
Pardon my ignorance, but is it normal to start the event past 9 PM in ski jumping? Or is this another "blame NBC" thing? The medalists were decided past 0 AM last night in very cold weather and I just couldn't believe it. I have seen other ski jumping competitions taken place in the day time before, so it is not like they couldn't do it in the Olympics or am I wrong?
Kudos to the jumpers who fought in the terrible condition last night, I hope they will stay healthy during the Olympics
The athletes actually wanted this to start late because of the wind condition. The sun goes down and the wind is supposed to stabilize a bit. At least better than during the day.
However, last night that didn't happen and I now am seriously pissed.
After Normal Hill disaster, I avoid all the hype surrounding ski jumpers. On Saturday I won't see final round, so I'll avoid any heart attacks
