So it wasn't just me. I was feeling depressed after staying up until 3 a.m. and all for nothing. Thanks to everyone for posting.

This "Abroad Sales" was a joke. Either e-tix had five tickets per day for foreigners or they didn't ensure that there wouldn't be any hanky panky. I'll bet on the latter. Somehow, our tickets were unethically scooped up by resellers through bots or whatever. Japanese Federation should be ashamed of themselves.
