quick question: if a skater does a jump very well in the air, but his/her landing is a swing landing, etc, can they still get a positive geo on that jump

Depends on how many bullet points they meet with the jump itself. A shaky landing without a stepout should get -1 to -2 deducted. So if you have a +2 worthy GOE jump otherwise (4+ bullet points) and then take out -1 GOE for the landing, on average, yeah, I guess you can?
