3 cheers for karne!! Enjoy! When you mentioned going to Maccas last nite I thought it was a convenience store or Aussie fast food place nearby your place until someone pointed out it is your short version of McDonalds! Love the term!!

Yes, there is a McDonalds only a few minutes' drive from my house. A "Maccas run" is Australian for "let's go through the Mcdonalds drive through and get some food!". Comes into special use during events, where people might only have a short break to get food.
