This was better than the SPs, but that was a very low bar. The last four skaters skated very well, and it’s too bad Messing is off the podium. His performance was my favorite. Also, Miura just got his ticket to the GPF. Congratulations to him.

First for the music: I love countertenors and falsettos. Not once have I ever thought they were women.

The last four skaters, wow.

Shoma the well deserved winner. Kao, speed and rotations yes, but speed and rotations can only get you so far. Look to your countrymen for performance guidance.

Pleasantly surprised by Matteo and a little sad for Keegs off the podium; some of those saves, wowza.
