Shpilevaya/Smirnov obtained 95.22 in their FD (-1 deduction). Total score: 158.65. With two pairs to go, they'll finish 4th.
Guignard/Fabbri's FD Score: 118.43 (very close to their SB). Total score: 195.39. And they will win this easily.
McNamara/Carpenter's FD score: 105.66 (-1 deduction). Total score: 174.35. And they finish 2nd. Congratulations!
Lauriault/LeGac's Total score: 171.46. They finish on the 3rd place

I must say that for a CS event the judges are quite strict here. Very few SBs and usually B events are from quite to highly overscored.

I couldn't disagree more! I watched the FD and many of the first 2 groups were getting SBs, massively so, like the French, Wagret/Souquet by 11 points. They climbed in the FD, so did the Poles Plutowska/Flemin who came 4th in the FD and 5th Overall. Lauriault/LeGac were 2nd in the FD, though 3rd overall. Shpilevaya/Smirnov were lucky to stay 4th after she fell in their SS. The Poles will be moving up this season.

Oh, I saw several RD and the last group of FD and saw no SBs, which surprised me and gave rise to my comment. As for the Poles, it was their first competition this season, so any result would have been their SB. Anyway, I'm very excited about them. I think the move to Montreal has already proved to be the right decision. And now I only hope they'll develop, improve and move in the rankings.

All the podium received lower scores compared to their GP scores, so the judges were fair or strict with the top teams :) .
