I don't like the fact that Eteri stays near her daughter's coaches. It's like an intrusion in their work and it looks like a try to influence the judges. i don't say that's her goal, but it can be interpreted in this way.
Not to say, that in one of the Russian cup Diana participated her coach was the tech specialist.:eeking:

Not sure how much Eteri's presence helped them. I don't know a thing about ice dance, but I enjoyed watching Diana and Fedor. I think they show promise, but based on their scores they're obviously not ready to compete with the top junior teams yet.

K/N in lead , they have the best skating skills and seems more improved.
Current top 4 are really close, and I guess Skoptsova/Alyeshin will go in as leader.

Polischuk/Vakhnov have the best SS score right now according to the result page. Was surprised that they will be 4th in the SP, did they do any mistakes?

What's the deal with the constant underscoring of Polishchuk & Vakhnov at Russian competitions? The international judges love them but for some reason not the Russian judges.

Maybe their coach is not powerful enough in Russia?

TBH, she's really sloppy and usually don't have good programs. They seem similar to Loboda/Drozd.
And maybe their underscoring at Russian Nationals (if any) is related to the fact that they still have some seasons in the Juniors.

Wow sloppy is not the word I would use for them at all :confused2:! They don't remind me of Loboda/Drozd in any way.
Their FD this year is not the best but they I find their programs usually great! Let"s agree to disagree then....
