That is interesting. I really hated that free skate. I love Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva. She is my favorite Russian ice dancer. She always performs full out and she has wonderful basic skills, but that choreography did not work at all, imho. I hope they rework the program and get rid of all that terrible miming. This team (as with all teams that include Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva) has so much potential. I hope they find a program that capitalizes on that potential.

Anyone knows if the split Elizaveta Khudaiberdieva with Filatov was because Bazin needed a new partner or they broke before? Because I really like this pair in junior...

well.. after years of miming in ladies ..people get use to it .. even with miming I like the program..

Thank you gordana... I was sad ... I think it was a good pair her and Andrey Filatov... well to be honest she also looks good with so short time with bazin .. but what i really hope it's no drama or changing partner again..

Ahh... My first time seeing Rumak/Goncharov, they are so adorable LP feels sophisticated yet age-appropriate, good job whoever did the choreo (Rubleva?)

I have a weak spot for Vasilisa Kaganovskaya since her appearance in the Ice Age, congrats to her and Valeri Angelopol for the second place overally and the best free dance.

The medalist were all wonderful and so very different. It has been an exciting competition, and I hope the next stages and the Nationals will take place and be equally entertaining and tense, fiercely contested.
