It's so nice to see Veronika competing again. Glad she went for the less risky layout here, and focused on going clean, especially with the awkward landing on the 3T. Has she always had a cartwheel in the SP? I don't remember, and was so surprised. I am also always very pleasantly surprised by how flexible she is in her spins, given that I think of her primarily as a brilliant jumper, and then have to go, "Oh, right, she's really good all round".

Anastasia Zinina has a delicacy to her movements, a spark of grace; I wonder if she might follow a similar trajectory to Sofia Muravieva, developing a very full degree of artistry at a young age. Glad she's getting some support from her coaches in the KnC, she looks so upset about the fall and +COMBO.

I don't even understand how Nastya fell - she looked fine during the take-off and her axis didn't look that off either, but then her skate just slipped almost side-ways upon landing? Can anyone with some more knowledge than me explain why?
