The Men's Free at IDF is also now no longer working. Don't know what's happening here, but like the SA Gala, OK for 2/3 days then blocked. Can only think it's based on the number of views and amount of copyrighted content. I've contacted the ISU to see if there's anything they can do/might be doing about it - GPs are a lot smaller than the World Champs for example. If I get an answer I'll let people know.

Skate Canada is fine, and now that a week and a half has passed, hopefully will remain so.

You're welcome. I think I've downloaded all the IdF archived livestreams before the blocks for my country were activated (I can no longer access the Free Dance and the Men's Free). I will try to post them eventually when I have more free time.

Skate Canada is fine, and now that a week and a half has passed, hopefully will remain so.

It depends on where you live. SCI is NOT at all fine for me (and I'm pretty sure there are other countries besides Canada that can't view anything on the ISU YouTube channel for that competition).

What I find sort of baffling about the blocking is the Men's and Kevin Aymoz's Short from IDF are still up and I assumed those would be one of the first to go, but instead the Free is blocked.

The media people at ISU appear to be living in the Dark Ages. Tangentially, but as yet more evidence, the Yuzuru practice from SCI put up on On Ice Perspectives on Instangram got taken down (I believe his Trusova clip was too) and it's being put out that the ISU made him take them down.

Never mind that it's a bare minute or so of gala practice. Never mind that it and the Trusova one are free publicity of the kind their business people dream of and probably get more views on social media between them than all the ISU's releases this year. Never mind that it's now all over twitter and the genie couldn't be put back in the bottle if the ISU abrabcadabra'd till doomsday. Noooo... the marketing people at ISU seem bound and determined to piss off their market come what may.

It seems to be part of the same "what century - millenium - are these people LIVING in?" pattern as the media deals which mean fans can't watch competitions, as the blocking and yanking of youtube clips, as the awards no want wants instead of the gala, of the refusal to listen to their core support about the problems in scoring and judging.

SBS are apparently starting highlights packages from this weekend, so I doubt it unless they're gonna hook us up for a live stream.

Which is even more ridiculous when you consider that Brendan and Kailani are competing this weekend...

According to the customer service person I talked to about it, one of the factors influencing the choice about whether or not to livestream is relative times - there would have been no point livestreaming I de F, for example, because it was happening so late at night over here that it would hardly be watched by anyone. The events in China and Japan are both close enough to reasonable viewing hours here that it's possible they will decide to livestream them (if, of course, other factors such as the technology also cooperate).

It may not be SBS that put the block on YouTube, but the ISU on the grounds that the event would air on broadcast TV later.

Thanks for the time. For some reason, SBS on my TV constantly froze to pixels. SBS HD was better but this still happened occasionally.

No need, as the others have just posted (just as I came in to post lol), it looks like we'll have the ISU stream this weekend. I can see all four scheduled SP streams. (The scheduled streams don't show up when we're blocked).
