South Korean Ranking Comp. Dec 21-23

*ALARM: THIS IS NOT KOREAN NATIONALS!

-Skate Korea
-Place: Mokdong Ice Rink, Seoul
-Date: December 21st-23rd
-This event is not nationals but second important domestic competition in Korea, because with the combined results of this competition and the Nationals, National team members for next season will be decided. This event is also qualifying trial for 1) 4 Continents 2) Winter Universiade 3) Winter Youth Competition

-Entries deadlines: December 5th
-Official practices: December 19-20th. (All official practices will be open to public.)

There will be free cuts after short program,
1) if numbers of entered skaters are less than 49, then 24 skaters will be advanced in each segment.
2) if numbers of entered skaters are 49 and over, then 30 skaters will be advanced in each segment.

Qualification for participation of this event: skaters should meets both age limits(born before 2006.07.01) and level limits(level 5~8/ level 5 is for skaters at least can do 2A, level 7 is for skaters who can do 4 kinds of different triple jumps)


-Segments: Ladies/Men/Pairs/Ice dance Group 1, 2
For Ladies and Men, Group 1 is skaters of level 7~8 and will perform Senior program. Group 2 is skaters of level 5~6 and will perform Junior program.
For Pairs and Ice dance, group 1 is Senior and 2 is Junior level.


-This event is for: selection of 4CC, Winter Universiade, Winter Youth Comp.
-Number of entries which will be distributed with the results of this compitition: 4CC(3 at each categories), Winter Universiade(3 Men, 1 Lady, 1 Sub Lady), Winter Youth Competition(2 Men, 2 Ladies)

Skaters must satisfy minimum TES for those competition (in case the competition needs it) before this event.

For skaters who are not eligible to those international events, also have to participate this event because this event`s score will also affect to select 2019 National teams. Combined scores of this event and 2019 Korean Nationals(Jan, 2019), 8 ladies, 4 men will be selected as National team for next season.

Some fans recognized that there's no ticket sales this time,
and also no notice about it from federation so I think it will be free entrance!

#22 Minchae Kim was truely talented. With her little and tiny body, good and nice quality jumps she has. great speed across the ice. song was mama I am a big girl now, not a great song but she made it. nice 3T-2T, 2A, 3F. I don't understand why she fell at last spin though. scored 46.01

#25 Yeonjung Park she has good shot to win here, nice 3Lz-2T, 3F, 2A seems all cleaned. scored 51.85 currently 1st.

#48 Boin Moon she has nice choreo and decent speed, fab step seq with Never Enough. scored 46.25 and currently 4th

#49 Minji Ji showed some sort of mature moments more than other competitor in this junior ladies segment. beautiful movements over here and there. 3S-2T, 2F, 2A scored 45.45 and currently 6th
