The Journey to replace 20 year old Klingbiels: Advice Solicited

If you're looking for 100% cotton figure skate laces, I don't believe they're made anymore. One online site used to carry new old stock, but they've run out.

My favorite laces are Derby Laces, but they are waxed polyester. They are lightly waxed, not stiff or tarry like other waxed laces. The CORE laces fit a bit more snugly than original Riedell laces, but they work fine on Riedell boots. [The EDGE laces are narrower, and come in a larger range of lengths. But the only colors are black, white, and tan.]

I’m not the OP, but I’ve now ordered a few colored CORE laces to try out. Thanks for the recommendation.
