The man has beaten the crap out of you guys :dev3:

I am Officially Dead, it's true.

I will say, though, that if Yuzu wanted to make me LESS anxious for the actual 5-quad layout he's planning, THE PLAN WAS A RESOUNDING SUCCESS.

*If he skates that planned layout clean, he should beat everyone no matter what, but you didn't hear that from me.

I would kindly ask some posters to refrain from posting degrading and condescending comments jabbing at Yuzuru. This is Yuzu's fan fest, it's his fans' safe space to share the love for him.

Jelousy is an ugly trait.

Being a ride or die fan-yu is REAL, son! I can handle a 450 ft. roller coaster in the front seat without batting an eye, but THIS actually terrifies me.

They could only have accreditation for one coach and Yuzuru chose Ghislain, so I'm not even sure Brian Orser is coming (and was supposed to come?).

Could someone more knowledgeable than me break down the chances of Yuzu winning gold if he goes clean? Does he need Nathan to totally implode, or just not be perfect to have a shot? I want him to have a fighting chance (but I also wouldn't want a complete meltdown from Nathan of course).

Nate would have to probably miss a couple quads. Not likely. And Yuzu will need to skate like he never has before, so he'll need that layout he is planning and to execute it flawlessly. We're looking at a 2017 Helsinki Worlds scenario IMO.

I think with the new layout, the bv of yuzu's program is about two points higher than nathan's. So if both of them are clean, and seeing how the judges score them, it'd would be practically imposible for yuzu to make up the difference after the sp.
Right now I'm hoping for a program he's satisfied with and that he has a happy birthday.Nothing more.

He should save it for Worlds. Again, this is GPF. He should not be skating like he never has before just to chase some dozen points to win the GPF.
