What's really in Zagitova's favour is that she's doing the toughest jump layout at this point and she's backloading. So from the athletic point of view I approve of that more than I approve of Medvedeva's jump layout, which isn't the toughest (that 3 jump combo with the 2 2T's still bothers me).
So Zagitova wouldn't only win because of consistency and backloading (like Medvedeva two seasons ago, not last season because she's improved her overall skating quite a bit).
But then I think that Zagitova's overall skating isn't that good yet. She can win if 2 or 3 skaters make mistakes, but with a clean performance from all top athletes only bronze is realistic imo.
