I am sure it is a coincidence but no later than 8 hours since I posted my "conspiracy theory" (see the Russian ladies thread) fsrussia.ru posted the announcement about test skates of 2018-19 season:

They will happen on September 9 at Megasport, Moscow. One day means only free skate.

Tickets are on sale at Megasport. No online sales are announced. I plan to go.

So far, availability is good: I got 5th row in the very center. The price is higher than was in Sochi but still reasonable.

Does anybody know when thhe Senior Test Skate will start this September? Will this Event be streamed?

All I know is that SP will be held in Novogorsk without any public present. The FS will be presented in the Megasport Arena, Moscow, on Sunday 9.9.
The last two years, we were at the mercy of fans live streaming on their phones or periscope... I hope something, somehow, somewhere will be available

Anyone who is going: please report! I'd love to be there.

There was only preliminary info but, I understand, that everybody from the national team should be there. A big unknown is Anna P. Also Leonova is not in the team

Since I generally only follow ice dance and pairs, I'm eagerly impatient to hear about/ see the programs of Vika and Nikita, Alexandra and Ivan, Betina and Sergei, Tiffany and Jonathan from ice dance and Evgenia and Vladimir and Natalia and Alexander from pairs. I'm really curious about Trankov's work and generally I am happy that finally the time has come when each week the programs of the top (and not so top) figure skaters will be revealed and the GS forums will be hot from vivid discussion about each athlete's performance, choreography, music selection, costume, etc.
