definitely a make or break moment for Maia and Alex there...

if they'll win this, with some good scores, they possibly can beat Chock/Bates in race for USA ice dancers no#1

it will be very interesting to see them there.

Also - suprisingly for me - kind of rooting for Ekaterina and Dimitry. Guess they had to go on 1 year break to make me missing them...Really solid programs this year, very 'them' and honestly - I don't care, they are just that 'big' style.

Good luck!!!!:cheer:

I also find I really appreciate B/S a lot more now after their break... not really sure what it is but I have been really rooting for them

They're all on the same day in Japan, but different days in ISU Standard Time?

They're not. Dance will be tomorrow (Saturday) in Japan whereas the three events today (Friday) were in fact today (Friday) there. They also have dance for Sunday whereas everything else will be Saturday. I am not sure why.

Same situation but I think I'm going to reluctantly not... 4:30 on a Saturday I think just might be too early for me even though I'm really rooting for and like 4 of the teams in this event.

Okay, that's weird. But at least it's not at 4 AM my time?

usually I try to get at least 7 hours of sleep so should go to sleep today circa 9-9.30 PM to be well tomorrow...Not sure if this would happen but I so want to watch this live...

Sorry. Their exhibition is so horrific, it has thrown me off as a fan.

I don't just mean for this season, I mean for life.

I've gone back to watch some video of their prior year performances, which I had liked, but all I can see is that ridiculous clown charade.

I hope Stepanova and Bukin destroy them, just to throw Russian nationals into an even greater dramafest.

Slay, my Shibbies, SLAY! :cheer:

Also, fingers crossed H/D medal so we can have three American dance teams in the final!

(If S/K and Ashley made it too, that would mean six American finalists-seven of Max somehow got the seventh spot. Yeet!)

As always, cheering for Maia and Alex! Ice dance is the only event which is broadcasted at a reasonable time for me so there's no way I'm missing it! :yahoo:
