There is no bigger mystery to me that Maxim's PCS :scratch:

And there was a method to my prediction, mind you.

Current Rus Nat scores for the Russian senior #1 (Kovtun), senior #2 (today, Menshov. Could easily have been Voronov, Rus Fed doesn't care), junior #1 (Petrov) and junior #2 (Samarin) are all within 1 point of last year's scores for those ranks.
Bottom line is that Rus Fed is extremely predictable.
