Why are the Italians and the Australians (who aren't here this week) both skating to the same overblown cover of INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart"?

The original is the best, IMO.

I liked Z/E's program, shame he fell on the SBS.

I agree — original or bust. Sigh. It’s also just such a “tempting fate”/ironic lyrics choice... and that on top of the cover is asking too much.

Z/E's skate rewrote history, the Teutonic knights beat Alexander Nevsky in the Battle on the Ice. At least nobody sank through the ice, although with how literal the program is I suspect they would have if that was physically possible. Seriously, what's with that program and why give such a dramatic character piece to such a classical couple?

The advertisement with big feet on the boards, right behind the skaters' usual initial pose distracts me a lot. And the feet appear every now and then during the program.

I'm only now catching up with the competition and threads because of work, and as I watching and scrolling, I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on the big feet! LOL
