Just realised that this will be starting before I return home (I go out on a Saturday morning, remember). So, I'll put this up as a placeholder, and add in the links when I come home.

Here is the link for the ISU livestream on the Eurovision Sports website:
https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/isu/single-pair-skating-ice-dance/live.html?id=2419

Here is the link for the World Feed coverage on the British Eurosport Player (starts in 1h 30m from now):
https://gb.eurosportplayer.com/event/cup-of-russia-free-dance/0d575753-f7db-48e6-ae90-54951bd3a3bc

Unfortunately, the Free Dance is not being shown LIVE on Eurosport’s linear TV channels. :disapp:

...BUT, there will be highlights later on today, straight after the end of the LIVE ski jumping from Wisła.

EDIT: Except there wasn't! They showed a repeat of the Men's FS highlights instead of highlights of the Free Dance!!!

Here is the Time Schedule of the Free Dance:
http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1819/gprus2018/gprus2018_IceDance_FD_TimeSchedule.pdf

And here is the Live Scoring:
http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1819/gprus2018/SEG008.HTM

Hope this helps.

:cheer: ALL THE BEST EVERYBODY!!! :cheer:

Gosh, that spin was slooooow! But I guess it’s a better outing than the RD for Annabell.

Today's skate for Morozov/Bagin was better than yesterday's, but I still roll my eyes at them being here.

Me, too. Was hoping they'd be better to watch than at the test skates, but...I just can't connect with them. Wish Shipeleya / Smirnov would have been invited.

Annabelle MOROZOV / Andrei BAGIN
Country: Russia
Music: Tosca by Giacomo Puccini
Choreography by: Nikolai Morozov
Costumes: Basic red sparkly ID dress for her; black pants with white shirt and Renaissance-style sleeveless jacket for him

Program Layout:

Basic dance steps into
Curve Lift Level 4 .54g
NT St Seq - Level 1 for both .43g
SL Lift - interesting position. Level 4, .05 g
Twizzles - out of sync with balance check for him. Level 3 for both, .41 g
Rotational Lift - Level 4 .35g
Dance Spin - lovely first position but it totally petered out. Level 2, -.23g
Circ St Seq Le vel 1 .14 g
Chor Char Ste Seq nothing special but missed goe
Choreo Spin 1.11g
Choreo Slide .62 g

Not much to say about these two. They do bring the drama and the lifts are ok. What comes to mind is the saying, Not Ready For Prime Time.

Score: 81.89

Aargh I nearly forgot the FD (thanks men...), and Annabel Morozov(a) and her partner apparently had a bad skate.

Edit: Well, apparently not that bad, I'll be at home within 5 minutes and will finally be able to watch stuff live.

Misato KOMATSUBARA / Tim KOLETO
Country: Japan
Music: Love Story soundtrack by Francis Lai: "Une Histoire D'Amour" performed by Mireille Mathieu
Choreography by: Marie-France Dubreuil and Romain Hagenauer
Costumes: Purple draped dance dress for her; charcoal dress shirt and black pants for him

Program Layout:

Bias alert: This music is Sap City. Or since the vocal is in Franch, La Ville de Sève. YMMV of course. I find the moive laughably camp: "Love means never having to say you're sorry..." Hmm, and the divorce rate went zooming up up up after 1970. Coincidence? I think not.

Dance Spin - Nice speed but basic positions. And it traveled. Level 4, .06 g
Curve Lift - Over the shoulder pick up to one foot carry. Done on a vocal highlight. Really nice. Level 3, .69g and right into
Twizzles - Level 3 for her 2 for him. .31g
NT Step Seq - level 2 for both with .67 goe. they need better steps and to skate closer
Rotational Lift - Lift by thigh. Done to death (or am I getting ahead of myself?). The lifting and spinning movements out of the lift are more interesting. YMMV. Level 4, .74g It does have a floaty quality
Tempo change into
Chor Char St Seq - this must be the "We're Young! We're in Love!" part of the movie. And they do have a nice connection as a couple here. GOE .63
ML St Seq - Still Young! Still In Love! Level 2, 1.46g It was nicely done
Music cut to French vocal. Sad faces. This spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Nice spiral. But still...oh oh.
SL Lift - with clear positions. One foot exit out. Level 4, .46 goe
Chor Slide - This must be the "Oh no! It's Bad News!" 1.87 goe
Chor Lift - 1.36goe- and into final sudden Juliet Death Pose (I guess it still worked in 1970. And 2018).

Lots of little spinning movements, which is pure recycled MFD choreo. Also lots of two foot and skating on the flats. Work the basics.

I said it last time and I'll say it again: they're better than this program.

Score: 90.29

Besides S/B and C/P this event is such a snooze. Whereas IdF next week is going to be a blood bath...
