Sophia Maarouf, among the jumps only the Axel worked out, but nonetheless pleasant to watch, and nice, tasteful costume

Clemence Mayindu, decent skate with fall on the 3F, nice movement of the whole body, quite elegant

missed Mae due to the cabbage, but apparently two URs, very interesting costume

There is a Japanese guy competing in senior men?

Just opened the Time Schedule for tonight's Senior Men's SP, and I'm afraid Yuki Kunikata is now down as a withdrawal. (He had been due to start at #1)

Incidentally, he was Brian Joubert's only skater in Senior Men. But Brian also has a skater in Junior Men, Jean Medard, and he is lying in 2nd position after their SP earlier on this afternoon.

We now start a Pairs Skating double-bill. A group of 2 Junior partnerships; then a group of 1 Senior partnerships; then a group of 4 Senior partnerships.

Since they are being held back-to-back (and possibly with a combined first group), I will do a combined reminder post.

Catching up.

Wow, there is so much depth in French ice dance. I was kinda expecting that in a way.. but still surprised.

I honestly don't get what's going on with the Kovalevs. She's basically lost her ability to stay on her feet on the 3T and they're struggling a lot with the throws too.

And to end the day, we stay with the Seniors for some chaos! 11 entries in total, arranged into a group of 5 boys; followed by a group of 6 boys.

Except that the skater due to start #1 has withdrawn. So there are actually only 4 boys in Group 1.

the other Vauclin, Ian, with a much more retro program to Mambo Italiano, but also a fall on the 3A
just like the others he has a very entertaining step sequence where he really shows the entertainer's side
