I'm excited for Alexa and Brandon. It's been a while since we've had a pair that IMO is equally talented when it comes to technical ability. Wishing them the best in the free.

Alexa and Brandon really made an amazing debut. They look like medal contenders already. Their scores are podium worthy. Their twist and throws are amazing. This team is amazing and the pcs will only grow. Considering Russia is struggling - losing the former world bronze medallists, issues with injuries and confidence with Tarasova and Morozov,, injuries, illness then the retirment of James and Cipres, they already surpass the Canadians. Heck if Sui and Han make sbs errors is a world title impossible? Granted the stars would have to align somewhat. But the work on the singles jumps, Throws that are huge and difficult throw loop and flip!! Great packaging. And awesome lilfts. This team really could do it.

Well there was, let's face it, quite a bit of home cooking going on, but the US Pairs look to be the best shape they've been in for AGES AND AGES. Yes, there's tons of work to be done, but also tons of potential I haven't seen there for quite some time.

Exciting times ahead.
