yeah 1 theory I read that the Americans have a good chance for Oly gold in Dance so they ned a even playing field with no 'cosmic' team ('to bring down PC from the sky high marks')
lots of other conspiracy theories tho in favoutr of VM for example

On france television, Philippe Candeloro and Annick Dumont were quite appalled the italians went in 1st. They could barely say anything nice about their programs compared to the Russians, and noted the obvious mistake.

They are also seated right next to TAT, so you could hear her exclamations. (Just like yesterday she checked Medvedeva's jumps with Dumont).

I LOVED the Israel couple's nutcracker. Sad they have to be fourth.

C/L were lukewarm and overscored. First time I realized how much better than her he is.

P/C were the usual without last year's magic. Still got me tears in the eyes, and I'm glad they won.

If I were P/C I'd give serious thought to dropping the lindy hop part of the SD. I don't think it's working. I'd also be concerned about my PCS not being at least 2 points higher than it is in the LD. They have to be thinking about V/M and the Shibs as well as C/L now.

C/L got a +1 on their lvl4 Twz, really ? I really like them but that was a no brainer
and one judge put a -1 for P/C's spin (??)

When Ice Dance is involved, there is always a lot of drama. I'd like people stopped hating on C/L for the judges decisions. They weren't the ones to miss that they should've got deduction. They weren't the ones who decide on levels either. I really feel for them that so many dislike them, becuase of judges controversial decisions. (if you dislkie their style, that's okay, it's a matter of taste) I like their style, but I think they performed better at NHK than here. French won deservedly. As for silver & bronze, I don't know. But I agree that B/S deserved higher PCS than Italians here. Maybe difference should be a little bigger?

I think it's all about those programs. Even with a major mistake C/L still beat them. That, then, can only be about the programs. The judges prefer the Chaplin program.

-who is the judge who gave -1 to P&C' spin ?
-I'm not an ice dance specialist, but I'm surprised C&L did receive a level 4 and only -0.06 GOE !! Plus, they did not deserve such high PCS today IMO.

Felt B&S deserved the silver.

Well that sucks hwell: The Italians always put a smile on my face and I love seeing them skate, but in terms of programs, their choices really are same-ish. Oh well...

I still think VM is that cosmic team now & I doubt any panel can bring them down now
