I didn't like so many music cuts. they looked more tentative than usual. But what gorgeous twist!

Shame about that final lift utterly collapsing. Some good things in that performance otherwise, like the total diva arm sweep in the reverse lasso lift. These two have come a longgggggggggg way.

Personal note to Adele: hope you're working on new music. You are missed!

- Nice spread eagle in the first lift, nicely presented (+2)
- Well-landed throw 3F (+3)
- Smooth and easy death spiral (+3)
- A bit awkward on the exit of the spin (Lvl 2, +1)
- Strong one-handed lift and good exit (+2)
- Good choreo sequence (+2)
- A bit high on the landing of the throw 3S but still good (+2)
- Nice drag entry but just not enough strength to complete the lift (ouch!) so no credit!

Oh my, such a shame on that last lift! They were really building the momentum to that finish. They might have even gotten the bronze if it wasn't for that aborted lift. Darn... That said, why exactly are they not using Adele in the second cut of music for Rolling in the Deep and yet they are using Adele for Hello in the first part?

I was all ready to sing Ziegler/Kiefer's praises and then that lift came down.

To be honest though, I remember last year before Nebelhorn I wasn't sure they would even manage to qualify for the Olympics, but they've found their groove skating to a particular kind of music. Hope that lift error is more of a fluke.

I agree. They have made improvements all around. Their positions and line in particular looked much improved!
