The spiral was maybe their best of the season but still has some problem, and the catch of their twist is always a bit low.

Nicole and Matteo skated their best SP of the season I think. Spiral and twist were beautiful, and jumps were clean. They deserve to be in first place.

Yep, problems with levels on twist(B vs 2), spiral (3 vs. 4) and spin (3 vs 4). Protocol

Whoa! Just came in and the Warm-Up for Junior Ice Dance Group 1 has started early.

In fact, it's just finished! :eek:

EDIT: Just realised. It was the Short Dance schedule I was looking at, not the Free Dance! :slink:

Rossi / Folda just took the half-time lead.

Not surprising since the skating was very good. But the best bit was the reaction when the scores came up. They were absolutely delighted!!!

Even when the warm-up was on, you could still hear them laughing and celebrating!!!

It is really great when you see a couple as happy as they were.

So the only change in the Junior Ice Dance between the Short and the Free was that the bottom 2 couples swapped positions. The top 4 stayed in the same order.

Will the same happen in the Senior Ice Dance?

Well, we don't have to wait long to find out because they've just finished introducing the Judges.

Skaters on the ice now for their Warm-up.

Talk about multi-cultural!

An Italian guy and a Japanese girl dressed up as North American Indians, skating to South American music (pan pipes), but with Italian lyrics!

When you hear that description, you wouldn't think it would work.

But you know what? It did!

I absolutely LOVED it!!! :clap:

Misato didn't look very happy coming off the ice, though. In fact, she looked absolutely exhausted.

Loved the way the Fabbri brothers had a big hug as one was coming off the ice and the other was going on!

Well, Andrea wasn't actually the only skater Marco hugged. One of the other guys got one too! :biggrin:

Erm, does anybody know if the stream is going to come on air any time soon?

I was looking forward to watching the Junior Ladies. The first group are supposed to be on their warm-up now, and one of the ones I particularly wanted to watch is in the first group!

That was not the best start to the day.

Ginerva Barra Bajeto gets into position, and the music starts. And she immediately turns around and gives a dirty look. It was the wrong music. But, the look was enough to get it stopped immediately without her having to complain to the panel.

Once the right music ("Kalinka") did start, things went better. Although, she did have a fall.

Giorgia Ricetti. Lovely blue and white dress. Strange combination of music ("This Is A Man's World" followed by "Get Up Offa That Thing"). And whilst she didn't fall or anything, the skating was very simple.

Hopefully the next skater will be better, so that we have something to properly judge Leccardi against.
