I quite enjoyed Julia and Damian's SD. That music didn't make me want to hit the mute button. Low score, those pesky levels!
More falls!? Does that mean Nationals wasn't a fluke [emoji27]Lots of potential in that program, especially from the lift through to the end. But they have got to get those falls under control

Kaitlin fell on one of the twizzles. I shouted "no!" at my computer screen.:sad4:

I honestly found Smart/Diaz much better. I don't understand the crappy result. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks!
Because Olivia's skates were off the ice for too long during their choreographical spinning move (required element), it became a rotational lift (that got 0 points) and the actual lift later on in the program became an invalid extra element (0 points, -1 point deduction). So, they lost TWO elements because of one little error.I honestly found Smart/Diaz much better. I don't understand the crappy result. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks!
Choreographical spinning moves or any other choreographical moves (twizzles or lifts) are not a required element in SD. They are required moves only in FD. In SD they are only a part of choreography and don't get any technical points. So, actually Smart/Diaz lost one element (their lift) and got a 1 point deduction (for an invalid element).Because Olivia's skates were off the ice for too long during their choreographical spinning move (required element), it became a rotational lift (that got 0 points) and the actual lift later on in the program became an invalid extra element (0 points, -1 point deduction). Oh yeah, you're right! Thanks for pointing that out.Choreographical spinning moves or any other choreographical moves (twizzles or lifts) are not a required element in SD. (...) So, actually Smart/Diaz lost one element (their lift) and got a 1 point deduction (for an invalid element).
