Although we already had Lombardia, the US Classics and a few JGPs, it feels like the season is starting properly today with ACI and JGP Minsk at the same time!
Really looking forward to Katia & Dima! I hope it works out very well for them and they'll soon be set in Olympic mode. Good luck to Betina and Sergei as well. :dance:

It's B/S's to lose, but I'm very curious to see a number of other couples. Should be enlightening!

The dress was a bit distracting (looked like 2 incompatible dresses taken apart and sewn together) but otherwise everything looked nice to me.

P/M seem rather well matched to me. I liked the variations in the twizzle positions and the lift entrance was very interesting--I wasn't sure where they were going to take that after the entrance (which is a good thing). They are a bit rough around the edges (not surprising for a relatively new couple) and need to skate closer in hold, but I enjoyed that.

K/N's pattern was skated "small" to me--it felt tight. He needs to keep better control of his upper body during the twizzles. The lift was meh. She is much more interesting to watch than him, but I did like the last 20 seconds or so.
