I know this is them trying to be edgy and frankly it's a pleasure to see a Russian program that is at least trying to be contemporary, but it's really not all that edgy or that interesting.
I'm sure L/L were aiming for gold here. But even if they remain in 2nd they'll have time to fix what was wrong with the free for their second JGP and hopefully the final.
I was not a fan of that program either. I didn't like the music or the choreography. It seemed like they were trying too hard to be edgy/modern. They seem like strong skaters, but this program didn't do it for me.
Well in the replay that's a really nice choreographic character st seq. A much better stab at being contemporary. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's not freezing 12 times over the program (not kidding I counted).
