Aww, I am glad I left 4CC for next week, because this competition left me wanting to send care packages to Russia and 4CC will make things better. Hug to all the guys, they tried so hard! Also props to Grishin and Medvedeva for continuing professional and empathetic commentary. Medvedeva’s insights were really welcome.

I can't believe Ilya won with that skate. I thought he'd be off the podium watching the beginning, never mind winning the whole thing. I mean I'm happy for him but oof. I feel like he skated a better free at senior nats.

That was a very "experience russian men's skating" kind of podium lol.
